My name is CALDERARA Serge and I am living in the south east of France in a beautifull village call Amphion-les-Bains. Located close to the Swiss border, I have access to the the Leman lake during summer season to practice my favorite sport “Wakeboarding” and beautifful mountains for biking or skiing during winter. I am married and have 2 kids… a beautifull familly

I have 17 years of experience in programming starting, like everybody I guess, with PASCAL or FORTRAN…So long time ago. Professionnaly I am actually a specilist in Microsoft .NET platform. I get certified since 2004. This is something that I am really proud of for two reason. First of all because this was , and it is still, a personnal investment which request a lot of extra work after normal hours. Thanks to my wife who was supporting me during that time. And next this is an internationnal recognition on my past experience that my customer’s can rely on.
Today I spend my working time on Microsoft .Net platform and help others to adopt and integrate that technology in different project.
After having working for a long time in an Internationnal company, I have decide recently to work for my own as a Consultant. For that I have created my own company named SOLATYS which participate in Microsoft partner program

I am open to any serious partnership to build our futur customers application

Yes fully agreed, we cannot know everything. Espcially when you work ont a particular customer project where you implement only what is needed for tha project. For intance I have never use or the time beeing LINQ, the reason ? simply becasue my customer wants to get a clear code that he understand and for me LINQ or not LINQ will not make your project succeed.
I use to say it is not because it is here that you MUST use it. And sometimes when I peple ask me if I know LINQ and I say know there are suprise and start to argue. At that time I ask them if they know WCF and they say no at there turn. :-)

The most important point as a developper is to know that it exist, and when you think you will need it at that time you will investigate more.

i always like to help people. i think sometimes people are afraid to give thier opinion or incomplete knowledge because they do not want to sound misinformed, stupid etc.. but i learn alot more by just jumping out there and having someone tell me .. no that is wrong.. or no i dont think that will work or that is bad thinking.

additionally i think people are too polite when they do read what you write and dont challenge you for being afraid of hurting your feelings. I think we need to get over that so we can all rise.

Thanks to you.
That was great to talk to you here.
I think I will start from the training kit first. In orer to think simple first before seeing architecture

What are the key point to in oreder to architect them corrcetly ?

the thing with MS Cloud Service is its the same developer platform you know .. .NET 40, Visual Studio.
much of the .NET skills can be transferred. Developing applications will be similar. Architecting them will be different

So I will start to learn then. I thing I will love too the service bus as it is quite close to xcf service today.
On thing I did not really catch in the SQL service is the way you create your table. Do they have a kind of environement similar as SQL server ?

Yep they have a lot of power in this area of course but how to you see the others like our current ISP which now start to offer what they call in they own word clound service. DO you think it is the same ?
My own propider is offering such now and in my mind they call it clound service because it is a know word now in the area, but i wonder what is behind compare to MS

all you have to know is that microsoft is spending a gazillion dollars to do this.. so they did a gazillion amounts of market research to see if people needed this and if it could sell. I only have one brain. Microsoft has alot of money and alot of brains.

microsofts offering is the best for developers and its very integrated

there is this story called the "allegory of the cave" i think reading this will help us get the mental perspective of new things you can do with the whole stack. The great thing about Microsoft is that they own the whole stack.. so any revolutionary ideas or directions that require innovation across the stack they can do this.

everything that is coming out now is connected to an overall strategy.
more powerful architectures at lower costs.
