SQL Azure Under the Hood
Last month we introduced Sql Azure. In this months session we will look under the hood to see how Sql Azure was constructed. We will discuss the issues involving failure detection, automatic failover and the Distributed Data Fabric.

Our next cloud computing group meeting will be held on Thursday 8/6/2009 and the topic will be Azure design patterns. As we get closer to the date I'll post a link where you can register. Due to the Azure firestarter that we held this past Saturday, we are not having a meeting in July.

The next Philadelphia Azure User group meeting will be taking place on Thursday 5/7/2009. In this meeting we will be learning about Windows Azure .NET Services. In this session we cover the next generation of messaging, data and access control and how they help developers.

The next Philadelphia Azure User group meeting will be taking place on Monday 3/2/2009. In this meeting we will be learning about how Live ID integration works in the Azure cloud computing platform. We'll demo and dig into the code of an application built in the cloud that integrates directly with the Live ID service and stores information specific to the individual associated with that ID.
