Last month we introduced Sql Azure. In this months session we will look under the hood to see how Sql Azure was constructed. We will discuss the issues involving failure detection, automatic failover and the Distributed Data Fabric.

Just a reminder that the NYC Could Computing group is meeting this coming Tuesday September 29, 2009.
In this meeting we'll be getting our first look at SQL Azure, Microsoft's cloud-based equivalent to SQL Server. We'll compare and contrast the features, management, performance, and operation cost of SQL Azure in the cloud vs. SQL Server in the enterprise
